- Personal Accident Insurance
The intention of this policy is to provide compensation in the event of an accident causing death or injury to the insured person.
A personal accident policy states that insures will pay the insured or the insured’s personal representatives the sum of money stated in the schedule if the insured suffers bodily injury resulting from accident caused by violent external and visible means which, directly and independently of any other cause, results in disability or death within a stated period of time, for example one year in case of death.
